FAQ's
How many guests can your space hold?
Our event space & studio is permitted to hold 100 guests.
Can I schedule a walk-through to see the space before booking?
Absolutely! We schedule walk-throughs on weekdays only to see the space as the event space is primarily in use on the weekends. Send us an email at social.events.alabama@gmail.com to schedule a walk-through.
Where is parking?
There will be a designated area for parking on the property.
Can we bring decorations?
Of course! Please note: No nails, screws, staples or penetrating items should be used on our walls. Any tape/adhesive/gummed backing materials should not be used on any wall surface and must be properly removed. In an extreme case of any wall damage, the renter will be held responsible for repairs.
Is there WI-FI?
Yes! It will be posted inside event space.
What if I need to cancel my event?
We have a three-week cancellation policy. Please let us know within three weeks if you need to reschedule or cancel your event to receive a full refund. Email social.events.alabama@gmail.com.
Can we serve/bring alcohol?
You are welcome to bring any food and beverage you'd like to serve. However, any event that requires the sale of alcohol is not currently permitted & The SociAL House is not responsible/held liable for any consumption/serving of alcohol on property. In the contract, we have a liability insurance for serving alcohol that we recommend renters purchasing for event.
Can I come in early to have time for set-up?
Unfortunately, no. You must maximize your time allotted for the time-slot you have chosen to ensure you have enough time for set-up, event, & clean-up/removal of personal items. We have provided our staff with adequate time to properly clean the spaces in between events to make sure they are ready for you and your party guests. We can not guarantee that the space will be reset and ready for you any earlier than the start time provided.
Who cleans the space?
While our incredible staff does an amazing job keeping the space clean between events, we do ask for your assistance in keeping our space running smoothly for all our guests. We ask that before you leave you wipe counter tops and flat surfaces with the products provided, perform a quick sweep of the floor and take all trash out to the dumpster located just steps from the back door. Please make sure the room looks like how you found it.
Can we move furniture/accessories?
You are welcome to move chairs, stools, high top tables, and accessories to better suit your needs. We ask that you do not move any of the dining tables, wall decor, mirrors, large/heavy items. Please have the room reset to how you found it before you leave.
